Cynthia Bacheet
After having studied architecture at Universität der Künste in Berlin and at The University of New South Wales in Sydney, she decided to move back to Egypt in 2020 to pursue her career as an interior designer. Most recently she decided to capitalize on her product and furniture design passion, along with her solid academic studies at top design institutions to start Noog in her homeland and inspired by Nubia.
Josephine Shahid
After graduating from Fine Arts University 1998. Josephine Shahid worked as a designer in different disciplines, then as an Art Director in the advertising field and managed an interior design business. In 2006 she founded Josephine Shahid Designs, where her passion for design and artistic sense is obvious in every piece she creates.
Her love for Egyptian heritage blended with design experience inspired her to co-found Noog, with a vision to create contemporary furniture and accessories inspired by Nubian style.

Sixteen years ago in 2006 Josephine Shahid decided to start an interior design company "Josephine Shahid Designs" based in Cairo. This comapny specializes in interior design and execution.
